Publications

The publications program for 2020-2021 generates news and stories through three media outlets—an online newspaper, a weekly broadcast, and a yearbook.

They are legally recognized public forums for student expression created and published by students in the publications classes.

In 2020 the yearbook received the Best of Show Award for theme in the OJEA Media Olympics and the journalism program received International Second Place in the Quill and Scroll News Media Evaluation. Individual journalism students earned a variety of awards as well.

Students who want to see if they are interested in joining one of the award-winning publications can begin in the Intro to Publications or Digital Photography classes.
