*Per IB policy, freshmen and sophomores are not allowed to take IB exams. :( 

The deadline to register is Wednesday October 22nd. No late registrations will be accepted. 

The cost is $130 per exam. Low income families may qualify for free or reduced cost IB exams. See the income chart on the IB Exam Registration Form for details. 

IB teachers will discuss their subjects' exam in class during the first week of October. If you have any questions that your teachers can't answer, email Mr. Savage at msavage@ttsd.k12.or.us or stop by his classroom (213 in the Upper Rotunda).   

IB Exam General Info 

IB exams are optional exams given each May.  Students who take IB classes can choose whether or not to take the IB exam for that subject.  IB exams are graded on a 1-7 scale.  Most colleges award college credit for scores of 5+, and many schools -- including University of Oregon and Oregon State -- give college credit for scores of 4+.  Last year over 88% of Tigard High School students who took IB exams earned college credit!  Not sure if you are eligible for IB exams?  Ask your IB teachers!
