Theory of Knowledge

IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is a fun, interactive class that explores the origins and nature of knowledge. Through readings, activities, and discussions, students explore questions such as: "What is knowledge?" "How is knowledge different in different subjects?" "What are different ways of knowing?" "How does culture impact knowledge?" "What is truth?" "How do we know what we think we know?" 

TOK is open to all juniors and seniors.  TOK is required for IB Diploma Candidates.  

There is no TOK IB exam, but students will complete a required "TOK Exhibition". Students will also have the opportunity to compete against teams from other schools in the annual Ethics Bowl.
